    We offer a 2 year guarantee for hip and elbow dysplasia. It is not a replacement guarantee, which seems pretty useless to us! Why would you want to have to give back your dog as most kennels demand? We will let you keep your dog and still give you a replacement puppy if ALL the following criteria are met This guarantee does not cover dysplasia due to injury or improper nutrition or environmental conditions:

1. You must name your dog with the Lane's House Of Shepherds prefix, ie: Lane's Valentino. This is not an AKC requirement but if you do not do so it will void your guarantee.

2. You must not take your puppy running with you until he/she is over one year of age. Also do not let them jump up or down excessive heights (like out of your pickup truck bed). This will cause irreparable joint damage.

3. You must feed your puppy as recommended in your puppy packet that we give you. It is very important that our pups, because they are such large dogs, DO NOT be fed any type of puppy food. They need to eat adult food which contains less calories, and need to be kept at ideal weight. Allowing your pup to get fat will affect their joints detrimentally.

4. Because of the variety and quality of dog food available we require that all Lane's House Of Shepherds dogs be kept on NuVet Plus Canine This Nutritional Supplement is available through breeder recommendation.The order line phone number is: 1-800-474-7044 Order Code 907534 The health guarantee will be considered null and void if you do not keep your pet on this supplement. You will be instructed concerning this when you take possession of your puppy.

5. At 2 years of age, not any younger, you must have a licensed veterinarian with experience in OFA hip requirements xray your dog and send the films into the OFA for reading. If your rating comes back lower than Fair, and you have met all 4 requirements, we will replace your pup with the same sex puppy within one year.

6. We verify pups development,You must send us a photos of the puppy every three months for a period of the first year (emailing photos are ok) so that we can see the pups development.

    We reserve the right to choose which litter we will give you a replacement from, and will do our best to give you a pup from a different sire and dam be asured it will be a Large German Shepherd pup.

We do not, for any reason, give cash refunds.
